Organized discussion notes can earn you extra credit to help out with your required notes. You can write down what I say about the film, what your classmates say, questions you want me to answer later on, and your own comments that you would rather not say aloud.
If you write more than one page of detailed notes for a discussion and show them to me before you leave the room, I will give you a bonus point to add into your film notes average. You will need to in your notes on discussion days so that I can decide whether to award your bonus point. These notes must have your name and date at the top the page and must contain notes for the entire discussion. Notes taken during a film do not count for extra credit.
