The basic requirement of this course is to watch the films, take detailed notes while doing so, and then write smart one-page responses to them (some responses are required, some are optional). Two class periods will be set aside to watch each film. Being in class, on time, to watch them will give you a chance to earn full credit on your notes. You also have to be present in class to turn in your notes for each viewing. On discussion days, you can earn bonus points for conversing about the films with your classmates and taking notes. I hope we can fit in at least ELEVEN films, but you can watch more for extra credit (provided you watch them with the Oconee Film Club and you take substantial notes to prove you were paying attention and thinking about the film).
