You can watch extra films for extra credit (provided you watch them with the Oconee Film Club and you take substantial notes to prove you were paying attention and thinking about the film). Your film notes for extra films should follow the same standards as required Film Notes.
Oconee Film Club viewings usually happen on Fridays, noon, in room 560. You would join us, take notes during the film, refine and fill in gaps in your notes at home, and then turn them in the following class period.
Sometimes the film club attends viewings off-campus at local theaters. You can join us for these films as well (free of charge, by the way).
Of course, you are welcome to join the club and attend events just for fun, as well. We hope you will come watch movies with us even if you don't need extra credit!
Remember, if you do earn extra credit points, they will not count until you have actually turned in all of your missing assignments, if you have any.
