Google Sign-Up Instructions

Before you can post Film Responses to this blog, you will need to create a Google account for yourself. It is very important that you use your Full Name as your "Name" when you sign up.

1. Go to Google Account Sign-Up.
2. You can "Sign in" if you already have a Google account. Once you have signed in, please edit your profile and modify your display name so that it is formatted First and Last name (notice the capital letters). If you do not have a Google account, just work through the form and follow the rest of the instructions.
   
3. When signing up for your new Google account, you'll create a new Gmail account. Use any username you'd like.
   But be sure to type in your First and Last name (notice the capital letters) in the boxes for "Name."
Choose a password, fill in the rest (especially a current email address), type in the "Word Verification," accept the "Terms of Service," and click "Next step."
4. Once your Google account is created, as long as you typed in your full First and Last Name for "Name," you'll be ready to post comments on our course blog. Go ahead and try posting a comment below, and make sure that your name displays correctly. If your name is not properly formatted, be sure to edit your Google profile to fix your display name--if your display name is not properly formatted, I cannot evaluate your Film Responses.
